About Your Account
Your Account allows you to save your information so you don't have to enter it each time you place an order. You can manage your shipping and billing information and view your online orders.

You’ll also be able to take advantage of our personalized services like Shopping List and Fetch My Sales. Sign up to receive monthly newsletters with helpful pet information, pet care tips, special announcements and promotions from PETCO.com. Set up a Pet Profile and we’ll even customize the information and offers you receive.

Once signed in, all of Your Account information is displayed on a single, easy-to-use page. Click the "Change" button in a section to add, delete or update any information.




Create Your Account

To register with PETCO.com:

  1. Click on "New User" at the top of any page.
  2. Enter the required information: first name, last name, email address and a password.
  3. Customize Your Account by providing your Pet Profile information.
  4. Click "Continue" to create Your Account and begin shopping.

Setting up Your Account is required to place a PETCO.com order.





Sign In

To sign in to Your Account:

  1. Click on "Your Account" at the top of any page.
  2. Enter your email address and password. Passwords are case sensitive.
  3. Click "Continue."

If you forget your password, click on "Forgot your password?" and enter your email address. We will display a Password Reminder to you (if you set one up). If you still cannot remember your password, you may request to have your password emailed to the email address associated with Your Account. Sorry, for your security, we are unable to provide a password to you over the phone.





Personal Information & Password
The Personal Information & Password section allows you to review or change your name, email address and password.

You may choose to set a Password Reminder to help you remember your PETCO.com password. If you forget your password, you may enter your email address on the Your Account login page and we will display your Password Reminder.




Recent Order Status History
Your most recent online orders are displayed in this section. For detailed information about a previous order, click on an order number.



Bottomless Bowl Information
Your Bottomless Bowls are displayed here. Up to three Bottomless Bowls are displayed on the Your Account page. You can see a complete list, including inactive Bowls, by clicking "View All Bottomless Bowls." Click the "Activate" link to reactivate a canceled Bowl. Click the "Change" button next to an active Bowl to modify it.



Pet Profile
The Pet Profile section allows you to enter information about your pets so you can receive customized information in your newsletters. To add a new pet from the Your Account page, click "Add new or view all pet profiles" and enter your new pet's information. You can also update existing Pet Profiles by clicking "Change" next to your pet's name.

On the Pet Profile page, you can edit existing pet information and click "Update" to save changes, or enter information and click "Add New Pet" to save a new pet profile.

Log in to Your Account to create or update your Pet Profiles.




Newsletter Subscription
In the Newsletter Subscription section of Your Account, you can update your preferences for receiving email newsletters from PETCO.com. Click "Change" and modify your subscription preferences.

On the Newsletter page, you can make any changes to your subscription preferences and click "Update."

Select the newsletters you wish to receive by checking and unchecking the boxes next to each newsletter. Choose the format in which you would like to receive your newsletters (HTML or Text). If you are unsure, select "Unknown." Select the pet types you are interested in receiving information about.

You can also enter your Pet Profile information and subscribe to the Pet Birthday Club. We'll help you celebrate your pet's birthday (or adoption date) with a special message!




Shipping Address
You can save multiple shipping addresses in Your Account and designate a Primary Shipping Address. Up to three addresses are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all saved addresses, click "View All Addresses."

To select a default shipping address for your orders, click the "Use this as my Primary Shipping Address" radio button below the address you wish to designate. The radio buttons under each address also allow you to choose the delivery address for your Bottomless Bowl orders.

To save new shipping information, click "Enter a New Address," add the information and click "Save Address." To remove an address, click "Remove."




Payment Information

You can save multiple payment methods in Your Account and designate a Primary Payment Method. Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all saved payment methods, click "View All Addresses."

To select a default payment method for your orders, click the "Use this as my Primary Payment Method" radio button below the payment method you wish to designate. The radio buttons under each address also allow you to choose the payment method for your Bottomless Bowl & More orders.

To save a new credit card:

  • Click "Enter a new Payment Method" and select the Credit Card option.
  • To modify a credit card, click "Change." Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all, click "View all Payment Methods."
  • Enter the correct information and click "Save Payment Method."

Bill Me Later is a service that allows you to place an order, receive the merchandise and be billed at a later date. To use Bill Me Later:

  • Click "Enter a new Payment Method" and select the Bill Me Later option.
  • To modify your Bill Me Later information, click "Change." Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all, click "View all Payment Methods."
  • Provide the requested information to verify credit and click "Save Payment Method."
  • If your information and credit are verified, you will receive authorization to use the Bill Me Later service and an account will be automatically set up for you on PETCO.com.
  • Once your Bill Me Later account is set up, you may use this payment option for subsequent orders without reentering information.
  • You will receive an invoice from Bill Me Later, not PETCO.com, to be paid upon receipt and upon terms, conditions and deadlines of the Bill Me Later Service.

PayPal is a global online payment system that conveniently and securely allows you to pay for your PETCO.com order. PayPal is an account-based system that allows anyone with an email address to securely send and receive online payments.

To use PayPal:

  • Click "Enter a new Payment Method" and select the PayPal option.
  • To modify your PayPal information, click "Change." Up to three payment methods are displayed on the Your Account page. To view all, click "View all Payment Methods."
  • Upon clicking the Place Order button, you will be directed to PayPal's web site to update your account information. If you have multiple Shopping Carts, you may need to do this separately for each Bottomless Bowl and regular order. After successfully completing the process, you will return to the PETCO.com order confirmation screen.
  • PayPal will verify your information and the amount of your purchase will be automatically deducted from your funding source.
  • If you choose to pay for your Bottomless Bowl using PayPal, you will need to set up a PETCO.com Billing Agreement, which authorizes PETCO.com to bill a monthly amount to your PayPal account. If you add items or increase the Delivery Frequency of your Bottomless Bowl, you will be sent to PayPal's web site to modify your Billing Agreement.
As of 11/16/09, we will no longer accept TeleCheck for payment online. If you have used TeleCheck previously, we ask that you please select another form of payment during the Checkout process to complete your order.

To remove a payment method, click "Remove."





My Coupons
The "My Coupons" section of Your Account displays the Electronic Coupons that are available for items in your order, as well as available Promotion Codes that you may redeem when placing an order.

Electronic Coupons are for specific products, and are automatically applied when you meet the purchase criteria for a product with a current coupon offer.

Promotion Codes apply to your entire order. To use a Promotion Code, go to the Promotion Codes & Coupons Available section of the My Coupons page, select the Promotion Code you want to use for the order you are currently placing and click "Redeem." The Promotion Code you chose will be added to your order. Please note that only one Promotion Code can be used per order.




PETCO.com Dollars
Giving you PETCO.com Dollars is one of the ways we like to thank you for being a loyal customer. Check our site and email newsletters often for details about chances to earn PETCO.com Dollars.

The PETCO.com Dollars section of Your Account displays the amount you have to apply toward your next PETCO.com order.

PETCO.com Dollars are automatically redeemed on your first order (including Bottomless Bowl orders) placed within the redemption period. Any remaining reward will be automatically applied to subsequent purchase(s) made before the expiration date, until the total amount has been redeemed.
